What do you provide?
The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar will provide friendly bar staff, glassware, wine & beer coolers, ice, bottled drinking water, drink napkins, garnishes (herbs & fruits), straws, drink menu chalkboard and any barware associated with making your delicious premium cocktails and drinks. We do not supply the alcohol, that is the responsibility of the host as well as the liquor license. We do require power so if there is no power onsite we can add a generator onto your package.
Does The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar provide alcohol?
No, all alcohol will need to be supplied by you. You will also need to purchase a liquor license, available online through AGLC, for your event. This is required by AGLC. Once you have secured your details with us we will work with you to help you figure out how much alcohol you will need to keep your guests happy all night! For your convenience we have prepared a list of alcoholic and non alcoholic premium beverages options to give you a few ideas on what we can serve.
Which drinks can you serve?
We serve premium cocktails, wine, champagne, beer, cider, soft drink, sparkling water, bottled water and various mocktails. Please let us know if there is something you would like to serve that is not listed and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Which cocktails can you make?
Choose any one of our delicious premium shaken & muddled cocktails from our menu to serve at your event. Some cocktails can be made non alcoholic. If your favorite cocktail is not on our list let us know the ingredients and we will do our best to replicate it. See our cocktail suggestion list for a few of our favorites.
What kind of glassware do you have?
All our drinks are served in either our custom 16 oz stemless wine glasses or a recyclable disposable plastic alternative. For large parties that require glassware, we have teamed up with Special Event Rentals to handle your glassware needs. If you are interested in glassware rental let us know and we will give you an estimate. We give you the freedom to choose which glassware is best suited for your event.
Do you provide glass clean up service?
Yes, our staff will come around to clean the tables for empty glasses throughout the night.
Do you have trained bar staff?
Yes, as a requirement our bar staff are Pro-Serve trained and have several years of experience in the service industry. We are also a licensed mobile food vendor by Alberta Health Services and comply with AGLC regulations on bar service. We don't like to brag, but our personalities and charming smiles are pretty good too.
Can you provide a toonie bar?
Yes we can! For more information on this please inquire.
Do you charge for mileage?
Yes. We charge 1.25$ per km from our home base in Edmonton, AB.
Do you operate year round?
No, our service is seasonal. We operate Mid-May to Mid-October weather permitting. No frost or snow here!
What are The Old Fashioned dimensions?
The Old Fashioned is approximately 14ft long by 8ft wide by 8ft tall.
What if my event does not allow alcohol consumption, do you serve other drinks?
If you are planning a market, expo, or family friendly event we can certainly customize a package of non-alcoholic beverages. At your request for these events we can serve coffee, tea, specialty lemonades & mocktails.
Can you serve beer on tap?
Absolutely, the Old Fashioned Mobile Bar does not have a keg system to serve beer on tap but we can hire one for you for a an extra charge. You can inquire about keg service when you fill out your contact form.
How much does it cost to hire The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar?
Every event is different so we will customize a package according to your needs. Pricing in based on number of guests, location and number of hours required for service. To receive an estimate for your event please fill out the form on the contact page. We cannot guarantee your booking date until we receive your deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable.
