If we decide to book your services, are we required to send a deposit?
Yes, for us to secure your booking date, you will need to send a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the balance.
What do you provide?
The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar will provide friendly bar staff, wine & beer coolers, ice, drink napkins, garnishes (herbs & fruits), straws, drink menu chalkboard and any barware associated with making your delicious premium cocktails and drinks. We do not supply the alcohol, which is the responsibility of the host as well as the liquor license. We do require power so if this isn’t an option, a generator will be required.
Does The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar provide alcohol?
No, all alcohol will need to be supplied by you. If the event is not taking place on your private property, you may need to purchase a required liquor license, available online through AGLC, for your event. Once you have secured your details with us, we will work with you to help you decide how much alcohol you will need to keep your guests happy all night! For your convenience we have prepared a list of alcoholic and non alcoholic premium beverages options to give you a few ideas on what we can serve.
Which drinks can you serve?
We serve premium cocktails, wine, champagne, beer, cider, soft drink, sparkling water, bottled water and various mocktails. Please let us know if there is something you would like to serve that is not listed and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Which cocktails can you make?
Choose any one of our delicious premium shaken & muddled cocktails from our menu to serve at your event. Some cocktails can be made non alcoholic. If your favorite cocktail is not on our list, let us know the ingredients and we will do our best to replicate it. See our cocktail suggestion list for a few of our favorites.
What kind of glassware do you have?
All our drinks are served in either our custom 9oz & 12oz clear recyclable plastic cups. For large parties that require glassware, we suggest you rent from an special event company.
Do you have trained bar staff?
Yes, as a requirement our bar staff are Pro-Serve trained and have several years of experience in the service industry. Our mandate is professional and friendly service for your special day!
Can you provide a toonie bar?

Do you charge for mileage?
Yes. We charge 1.25$ per km from our home base in Edmonton, AB.
Do you operate year round?
No, our service is seasonal. We operate Mid-May to Mid-October weather permitting. No frost or snow here!
What are The Old Fashioned dimensions?
The Old Fashioned is approximately 14ft long by 8ft wide by 8ft tall.
What if my event does not allow alcohol consumption, do you serve other drinks?
If you are planning a market, expo, or family friendly event we can certainly customize a package of non-alcoholic beverages.
How much does it cost to hire The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar?
Every event is different so we will customize a package according to your needs. Pricing in based on number of guests, location and number of hours required for service. To receive an estimate for your event please fill out the form on the contact page. We cannot guarantee your booking date until we receive your deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable.
